At Isonoma Foundation we prioritize grants for organizations that are working in the areas of Education, Health and Housing. Please read our Grant Application Guidelines before applying for any grants.
Grant Application Guidelines
We are looking for organizations that:
Are working to diminish disparities in Education, Health and/or Housing.
Have diverse staff at all levels of employment.
Primarily serve clients in Philadelphia, Dauphin, Cumberland or York counties.
Are serving one or more of the following populations:
Women and/or youth.
People who were previously incarcerated.
People who are experiencing displacement, such as refugees, asylum seekers, and domestic violence survivors.
People who have recently immigrated to to united states.
The LGBTQ+ community.
People experiencing homelessness.
We do not offer grants to:
Organizations that do not have 501(c)3 status or a fiscal sponsor.
Organizations with policies that limit employees, volunteers, board members or clients based on their race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability or any other legally protected characteristic.
Organizations that plan to re-grant the funding received.
Support fundraising events or annual appeals.
Political candidates or parties.
Individuals, unless it is for our scholarship program--though we do not take applications for scholarships (please see our Education page for more details).
